  SDI 8 Channels out

  Am i missing something ?

  FCPX 10.0.9
  AJA ioXT 10.4.7

  I have a 8 Channel HD 2398 and i want to play it out via SDi for a Hardware conversion, as in FCP7 you route the audio out as Ch1 -> Ch1 etc in FCPX it just does it as Stereo, even in the Surround setting …

  I need stereo pairs as well as MONO on the SDI output , any ideas ?

  Exporting as a file is no worries using roles but i need it as SDI

  You have to export and play out through VTR Exchange (or perhaps the Control Room beta).

  You can use surround, and you’d have to have your audio components routed to the correct outlets.
