  Problem with xml to Resolve Lite 10 – containing tiff files of photos.

  I am working at a documentary in FCPX with video shot on Red Epic in 5K WS and a lot of photos in tiff 16bit rgb. When I send an xml to Davinci Resolve 10 Lite – the photos shows up as black. Trying to send an xml back to FcpX gives me this error message: “Invalid parameters for clips” associated with the tiff images and I am blocked from exporting. I can see all the r3d clips on the timeline in Resolve, but not the photos. What am I doing wrong in FCPX?

  Have you tried an experiment with them as PNG or 8-bit TIF? Probably a color space issue…

  Thank you for your reply. I have tried both png and 8 bit tiff but with negative result. Do anybody know the proper setup (colorspace and file format) for photos to be edited in FCPX and send via fcpx xml to Davinci Resolve for cc?
