  Force trashing from Event browser

  I’ve imported something FCPX is struggling to transcode and I would rather trash it and reimport in another format but it won’t let you trash from event browser whilst transcoding is still going on. Stuck in a bit ofa whirlpool any help much thanks.

  Open the background functions window and cancel the transcode first.

  This does not work Oliver…for me anyway…pause it…hit X it will still not delete until it has finished and is taking a ridiculous amount of time to transcode a still image jpeg.

  This feature annoys me a lot.

  If I want to delete then it should let me delete and auto cancel any import or transcode surely?
