  FCPX Alpha Channel Issue with Photoshop File

  I edited a Photoshop file that was in the Original Media Bin which usually works without issue. Now, when I go back to FCPX, the alpha channel is messed up and what was usually transparent is now white background. Is there something I can do or check in FCPX or Photoshop to see why this is happening and fix it before I have to reimport the image from scratch and swap clips in FCPX?
