  Will After FX CS3 files open in CS 5?

  Hi, just need to move a file from CS 3 to another system with CS 5. No crazy plugins, no 3D fx. It should work, but getting harassed about it maybe not working?

  Will it?

  Yes. The only issues would be, as you mentioned, third-party plugins.

  There are also a few changes in supported source formats. It should work, but answer back here if it doesn’t, and we can help you to isolate why.

  Great minds!? You must be talking about Todd.

  By the way, this is sort of a given, but just in case … once re-saved as a CS5 project file it won’t be able to go back into CS3. I’ve heard about someone writing a script to make that possible, but I don’t know if it’s available yet or what limitations it might have.
