Selecting multiple shots from same angle in a multiclip sequence?
Here’s my predicament. I have a 30 min seminar shot with two cameras: A & B. I created a multiclip from the two angles and made a sequence of clips as in the following: A,B,A,B,A,B…
I now want to CC the separate angles. Back in FCP 7 I could correct the first clip and then use the find function and select all the other clips with the same name (usually it would be the file name created by the camera) and copy and paste the filters. However, in FCP X, all the angles in the multiclip now receive the title of the multiclip and not title of the source footage. Is there a way I can select multiple clips from the same angle in a multiclip without having to hold down the COMMAND button as I select them on the timeline or in the media browser? -

Open the multiclip in the angle editor. You only have to CC the angles there. All the changes will ripple to your sequence, unlike 7.

I must be doing something wrong. I have a series of shots: A,B,A,B,A,B.
I bring up the angle editor (cmd+shft+7). If I CC in the timeline only the clip selected is affected. Selecting an angle in the angle editor creates a cut and again only that edit clip gets corrected. I guess I can CC before multigrouping but that is counter-intuitive to the editing process. Am I missing a step? -
Command-shift-7 opens the angle viewer, not the angle editor. Go back to the actual angle editor where you set up your multicam and colour correct there. (right-click the multicam clip and choose ‘open in angle editor’).
