  3rd party AU audio plugins – noise removal

  I have not seen much mention of 3rd party AU audio plugins in FCPX.

  What are folks experience using such plugins?

  I’m interested specifically in better audio noise reduction. For instance, Izotope RX2 or similar. Do these work well in FCPX?

  Denoiser works well. For Spectral Repair you have to use standalone version as in any NLE.

  Not sure about the specific PI you’re interested in, but I installed a focusrite audio I/O on my system to use with my DAW’s, and all the AU plugins that came with it showed up in FCP X, (and 7 etc) so maybe it’ll work?
