Hi. This is just a simple example to demonstrate to you. I have a 5 second comp of a circle shape going from left to right, called Comp1. I copy it and paste it (Comp2) and drag it to the layers, to start after the end of Comp1. Now I want to make adjustments to Comp2. Transform properties e.g scale and position change OK. and show on ram preview. But any new effect does not show. e.g Tint colour, different background preset. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any tips.
Using AE CS4 with Windows Vista.

Thanks for your reply but I can’t see where it is to turn off accelerate rendering.

“Accelerate effects using OpenGL” seems to be checked but it is grayed out and I can’t change it.

Just seen it says “No compatible OpeenGL card found”.

What graphics card do you have? Do you have the latest drivers?

As to your composition issues, could you attach an example of a project file so we can take a look at it?
