Effect gone, how do I find it again
I had paid for and installed Sugarfx Light Effects in FCPX. I just opened one of my projects and see that the effect I did with this in my film doesn’t exist anymore. I look around for Sugarfx Light effects, but it seems to be no more… What happened to it? How do I get it back?

That’s a Noise Industries supported plugin.
Open up fxfactory and check to see if it is on.

It is not “on,” indeed it is nowhere to be found. Is there a way of turning these effects “on and off”? Thanks for replying Jeremy. Where should I look for it?

In the fxfactory application.

When I open FxFactory under SugarFX it only has Punchline, Rolling Credits and Subtitles, no Light Effects…

Jeremy, it is people like you who made stick a big thank you to Creative Cow at the end of the feature film we just finished.
You were right, I downloaded the SugarFX Light Effects and they plopped right into Fun Factory with the “purchased” there and ready to go. Don’t really know why they went missing before, but it is nice to know they are back!

FWIW, I had the exact same issue. But I went straight for the redownload. It was right after the FXFactory upgrade. Must just be a bug with FXFactory upgrade.
