  • Change Multicam Clip Properties?

I’ve got a multicam clip w/ three camera angles that we’ve already cut, but are finding that we set the resolution of the multicam clip incorrectly. Is there anyway of adjusting the resolution of a multicam clip? Reason being we’ve got footage from one camera at 720 and two cameras at 1080 and we’d like to have the multicam clip changed from 1080 to 720.

Found it! With the multicam clip selected in your events browser, open your inspector tab and at the bottom right is a cog dropdown menu with an option of “Multicam clip settings” and from there you can edit the resolution of the multicam clip, change render settings, but can’t change frame rate, most likely because you’ve got clips on that timeline.

Now in 2018 we have FCPX 10.4 and when selecting a multicam we have a “Modify” button in the inspector and it brings us a resolution, framerate and codec changes.

But when we selecting more than one multicam for modifying several clips the button becomes not active : (
Maybe someone knows how to modify a bunch of multicams? (I need to change a resolution)
And was the FCPX 10.2 able to modify more than one multiclip at once?
