  FC Pro X Audio suddenly is now randomly cutting in and out in entire video

  I have been working on a video in FC Pro x for a while and suddenly the audio on video clips is suddenly cutting in and out. It appears to be in sync still. The audio tracks seem to not be effected.

  any possible reasons and solutions? I am new to FC X and may have inadvertently pressed the wrong button ? I have no clue.

  I’m new to Final Cut 10.0.6. (coming from 10 years in FCP 7). Audio can’t be heard in Event Library nor in compound clips, but I see the level in both audio monitors. The level is indicated with a much thinner vertical line than in the Project Library where the audio is fine and is indicated with a thicker line. Clues?
