  RGB Offset (moving one single color-channel)

  Hi all,

  I have a problem with After Effects (Pro):
  how can I move a color-channel (for example only the Green-Channel) some pixels up?

  I have tryed a plugin called “Walker Effects – Channel Offset”. This is exactly what I need, but this plugin is very buggy and produce some interferences in the rendered video…

  Does anyone know a solution to do this “RGB Channel Offset” in After Effects or with another plugin?

  You could do it with two layers:

  give both of them a channel-mixer, and mix out your R G or B in the bottom layer.
  Then Keep only the primary your going to move in the top layer.

  Set the top’s transfermode to screen (possible you should use preserver transparancy if you have an alpha)

  Now you ca move, scale, rotate, filter the top layer and it will have the effect of only doing it to one channel.

  Excuse me is this do the effect in which there r colors at the edges ??
  if yes .. did u mean by the two layers = duplicate my footage ??
