  Maintaining quality when scaling down video

  I’m doing a video with many different clips on multiple split screens (9 to 16 divisions), but when I reduce my video by scaling in FCP the image is blurry. How do I get sharp video at reduced sizes?

  Are your playback prefs set to Higher Quality or Better Performance? This will happen with Better Performance chosen. Try setting to Higher Quality and rendering, then see what you get.
