    Hey Everybody

    Here’s the question:

In FCP 7 when I would sink up audio & multiple shots I would put Camera 1 and all its shots on track 1 and then so on & so on… then I would drop the audio and have Plural eyes do the work.

    But….

When using FCPX.. there are no tracks to organize multiple clips on. I highlight all the clips in the bin along with the audio and create a multi-cam clip.

For example, during the event because of the 12min recording time on my Canon I have to start and restart multiple times. Which gives me multiple clips from each camera.

Attatched is a picture of what FCPX does with that.*
(* you are see about half the tracks it made, there are more above what you see)

Is there a way to tell FCPX that all those different clips are from the same camera so it only make 3 video tracks and 1 audio ?

    Thanks

    Craig

You assign the correct angle number to the clips from the same camera. Do this before you make the multicam clip.

    All the best,

    Tom
