  Green Flicker In Video?????????????????

  Hello,
  This is the worst making me want to jump ship. What is the fix for green flicker frame in many of my students videos. I have 13 workstations and about 3-4 students are complaining about this. Is it a simple re render or something more sinister?

  I get these from time to time. It seems to happen mostly, but not always, when I’m editing h.264 without transcoding. Trashing the render files in the finder and re-rendering has fixed it consistently for me.

  Are they using any 3rd party plugins by any chance? Several vendors have or are about to release updates for 10.0.6 for this issue. Check into it…

  Yep- they’ve had a number of reports of precisely what you describe. I’d check in with Red Giant’s tech support and find out the status of your specific plugins.
