  Your “secret” color tools

  I’m sure most people here already know about this, but for anyone that doesn’t and isn’t satisfied with the color correction tools built in to FCPX you might find this useful:

  Included:

  Brightness
  Channel Mixer
  Color Balance
  Colorize
  Contrast
  Gamma
  Hue/Saturation

  Useful for quick targeted tasks, key framing color choices and whatever else you can think of. These are all straight from Motion, I just put them together for those who don’t have Motion. Drop them in your FCPX effects folder and enjoy!

  Useful tip: keep this zip in your drop box/google drive/whatever for whenever you switch machines.
