  Editing with computer speakers Option instead of active speakers

  I would to ask if it is recommended to edit with a computer speaker connected to the mic input on a MacBook Pro as opposed to getting a bm or Aja card and a set of yamaha active pair. I am trying to build a system and between the bm tbolt and set of yamaha hs80 would run into 1300 dollars.
  Is there a cheaper locution that would work out the same?

  Depends what you mean by work. Will you hear sound- sure. Will it be accurate and professional-level for mixing for broadcast- not really…
