    Hi you all,

I am editing multicam with FCPX in proxy cause I have lots of camera;s to work with. When I export I should set setttings back to ‘use original or optimized media’ under playback settings / preferences).

What I found striking is that when I export two .mov files for comparison -one with the proxy settings and the other with the checkbox on ‘use original media’ – The file size is almost just as large (178 for proxy to 179) for ‘original media’ export. There is some difference in quality between the two but not much much!

Could this be because I downsized my original material from 1920 to 1080 before importing in FCP X.

I am a bit afraid that I have to hand over my project in suboptimal quality now (although it looks nice)
    Thx
