I just got the LM2 Radar plugin from TC electronics. i drag it from the audio effects on the audiotrack in FCPX. The reading is too loud so i adjust the soundtrack levels. I clearly hear what i did but nothing changes in the LM2. I set the audio level from almost unhearable to distorted loud but the LM2 keeps reading the same. I have adjusted the Blackmagic audio output levels of the interface to several levels, but again, same reading. The ML2 reacts to nothing i do in the audiomix.

Does anyone have a clue if i am doing something wrong? I have asked TC helpdesk for info but they seem to have an enormous mail backlog.

    Zeno,
I´ve got the same result using the WAVES WLM-plugin within my tests.

there could only be one reason:

the mesurement will happen “pre-fade” – this is a real problem, as FCP X still not having a real mixing-feature (announced for 2nd half jear 2012).

will be interesting what will happen.

    cheers from germany

Thanks Daniel, i am afraid you are right. No response from TC electronics accept this “We apologize for not responding to you sooner, but we are experiencing a high volume of support requests. Your incident is still open and we will get back to you as soon as we can”

My guess is we found a serious bug here…
