I have several drives that I need to have plugged into my Macbook Pro. I only need one at the moment for editing in X. Is there a way to have X NOT recognize all of the drives?

I’d like this option too as I’d like to hide the boot drives.

You can turn off the “sort by drive” option and you will be left with just Events.

I just have “Unused Events and Project” folders on each drive and I move events and projects I don’t want FCPX to load in there.

Just quit the program before you do this, it also works with Archives.
