  FCP7 to FCPX. Is it a better way to do it ?

  I have 15 VHS tapes to capture. As X only captures from camera or files, I will do it in FCP7. I love how fast I’m able to work in X but I also need to apply a Denoiser plugin from Red Giant which I do have for 7.
  Should I apply the Denoiser filter in FCP7, render as Prores 422, export it and then edit it in FCPX ?
