Neat video works on FCPX
Been waiting for a good video noise removal. The guys at neat video have figured it out. They have a working version for X. Works beautifully. V3.1.1 you won’t see advertised on their site yet. You have to search in their forums. Their AWESOME!

The NEAT Video Team sent me an email yesterday, with information about the FCPX Beta or “release candidate” as they called it. Of course it was recommended not to install on a production machine (im out of town on a job so I can’t even test it on any machine). But I am quite curious about your experience with it so far. So, you haven’t had any major problems/crashes yet? How’s the user interface? Render times?
Looking forward to getting home and playing with it!

Works pretty much like before. It has the neat video interface to select noise sample. If you’re familiar with previous version then you’ll have no problem. Of course, you have to render but seems to chug along nicely. My normal process would be to apply the filter after completed edit or deactivate during editing.

Thanks for posting this. I generally don’t shoot in bad low light situations but just had a project that left me no choice. I contacted NeatVideo and tested the Release Candidate. Impressive results and didn’t run into any obvious bugs yet.
