event browser sort
Does X force the event browser to sort by date (shot, created, transcoded, whatever). Fortunately in 10.03 one can modify the date so I do not have to have different shots separated out because the were transcoded on a different day or shot on different days but jeez forcing the first level of organization by date seems myopic. Is there a way to get rid of organizing by date?

The menu at the bottom of the event browser lets you control grouping order. Set it to none.

I have some files shot this year ( they have correct 2012 dates.)
I have an event which I have called imaginitavely called “POV_HD 2012” into which I have imported the linked files.
(looking in the browser the event files are all 2012)However if I do an event Library sort by disc and group events by year this event appears under 2008
others I shot last week and imported into a new event (as linked files, again with the correct creation dates
eg “16 Apr 2012 16:22” ) show under 1999!can anyone explain this and offer a solution so my rushes are correctly sorted?
