  FCP 10.0.3 to AE CS5.5 Tip

  Hi Yall

  found a little workaround to go from FCPX 10.0.3 to AE 5.5 …

  you will need to download the awesome Automatic duck products (free now) also buy the $50 Xto7 – there was a tool from AEfoolCut but from there website

  “Latest update from Apple (FinalCut Pro X 10.0.3) brings great new features but broke what foolcut_ae was using to send the project to AfterEffects.

  On the other hand the new updated XML 1.1 format exports much more features than before and now permits to write a new tool based on this format.

  Do not hold your breath yet but I’ll do my best to update foolcut_ae to version 2.0 using FCPxml format and make it work again.

  Right now the only way to use foolcut_ae is using FCP X version 10.0.2.
