  vibrato gesture

  I’ve not read this technique anywhere, so thought I would pass it on.

  Using a trackpad, try a click-hold on a playhead, then rock your finger from side to side. This moves the playhead in very small increments.

  I found this useful in Compressor when adjusting filter nuymbers. Also in FCP when moving the playhead only a few frames.
