  Optical Flow(SloMo) not processed with CompressHD

  Hi – I’m trying to get the Matrox CompressHD to output a file that shows the Optical Flow correctly. When I use Optical flow at 1% of original speed, when exported with CompressHD it is very jittery (jumps from frame to frame) rather than slow and smooth when exported with Compressor.

  I’ve tried to make constant quality 100%, constant data rate 20mbps as well as using the default profiles for high quality and youtube.

  I’m using an FCPX, 720p 23.98 project and exporting either by sending to compressor or exporting QT file and importing.

  I love the quick render time of the Matrox, but if it can’t do this I’m going to be gutted!!!

  Any ideas?

  I wonder if optical flow works any differently when using motion as opposed to using it in fcpx, Have you tried that?
