With the new updates, I decided to finally take X out for test drive. I have a multi cam shoot of a live conference shot on three different formats, so I thought this would be a good test.

The sync worked remarkably well. I was very pleased with that. Now that I am cutting the sequence I am getting audio skips when ever I make a cut, even though I am only cutting picture and leaving the audio track from the main camera.

Has any one else had this problem?

The main camera was shot DVCPRO HD and the second Camera was Sony HDV, the third camera is just audience cut aways that didn’t run the entire time. I don’t think the camera or formats should matter as I am only cutting the video and the Audio track is staying on the DVCPRO HD camera.

The audio could be skipping if your computer is underpowered to handle the different formats all at the same time. Try using proxy mode.

Thanks Andy, but it is in the final output, not just when I am cutting. When the project is done and I export it, it’s still like that.

Hey, I just figured out how to get ride of my Legacy Name!

I am having this exact same problem. I’m using video from three sources and audio recorded on a Zoom recorder and every time I switch between camera angles there is a slight “hiccup” in the audio. All of the camera audio is muted and I’m only switching the picture in the angle viewer…please help!

Note: It isn’t my processor because the hiccup is still there in my final, rendered video.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I also get the hiccup after rendering. I have somewhat isolated it to a specific clip I call “JVC”. I first discovered this hiccup in a multi cam clip but it appears to hiccup with JVC even when JVC is on a timeline separate from the multi cam clip. Other clips don’t do this when on their own timeline.
