Please post here if you still get the “undo” bug where autosave stops on 10.03. Would be nice to know that it’s gone even though I haven’t seen it happen much

Good to know, there’s now an autosave function in 10.0.3
In release notes they talk about “Automatic restore of projects and Events in case of file corruption”.
And in your events and projects folders there’s a new “Backup” folder where you can find timestamped versions of the “currentversion” file.
    I believe it’s 15min interval based.

    Haven’t tested recovery yet.

Cool! Thanks for that, I hadn’t spotted it, just tried opening a timestamped version and it works OK

Its an autosave of each PROJECT and it’s a lot of use!

I was just bitten by the Undo Bug. A bunch of title changes I made were not saved; twice before I realized what was happening. There was a full reboot in there between title change attempts. No way of knowing how to reproduce it at this point.

Are people still experiencing this problem? Any rumor of a fix on the horizon? I’m on 10.0.7 and I’m cranking out between 4-6 videos a day and each one has the Undo bug. I’ve narrowed it down to whenever I do correction to exposure and saturation. Every single time I have to work on a video I must quit between projects and re-launch and my patience is wearing thin.

Trashing preferences doesn’t seem to work for me. It still happens after I make my adjustment and get the “bonk” when I cmd+Z.

Just curious if this is still an ongoing problem for others.

    Thanks!

This bug has been squashed for most people, it may be worth you doing a complete uninstall and re-install of FCPX
