Hello! Hope you are all having a great day! I am looking for suggestions on what the best preset would be for an animation I am creating in AE. I don’t know if I should use HDTV or NTSC DV widescreen. This will be put out on the internet and YouTube so it’ll be in h.264 when I render out. Any suggestions though on the best format to create this? Thanks!

Will you be using any footage? If so, I recommend using it’s native settings.

If only animation, then it’s a bit more open. I’d probably go with the preset: “DVCPRO HD 720 29.97” That way if you ever do need to use it for something else, you’re ready.

I’m curious if anyone else has other recommendations…

    Peace,
