  motion to fcp frame rates

  I have a motion project that is one clip. I set it up to match the frame rate of the fcp project it came from. I’ve worked on the clip in motion and now want to open it in fcp and now want to overlay the original clip (with luma key) on the motion project. funny thing… the frames don’t line up. If I match up the first frame, the last is out of sync and visa versa. the only thing I can see different is the data rate. don’t know if this would have an effect on my problem or how to change it in motion. ???
