  How do you add drop shadow to object in Lower third > Gradient – Center

  There is a really nice ribbon under Lower third > Gradient – Center.

  how do I add a drop shadow to that ribbon to make it stand out from the back ground?

  There is no drop shadow in FCPX as yet. Try using this simple Effect:

  3517_simpledropshadow.zip
