I’ve put together a pretty simple project in FCPX and the audio plays find throughout the 5:30 timeline. However, when I export the project it’s cuts off the audio at 2:40. I’ve tried every way of exporting, including just exporting the audio but to no avail. Everything is enabled in the timeline and the entire video exports perfectly. I’ve updated to 10.0.2 through the App Store so I’m running the latest release of the software.

    Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi,

I ran into this exact problem in a project that was roundtripped through Resolve. In my case, it always cut the last :01 of the audio in the exported file. The solution was to copy and paste all clips in the project into an entirely new project and then everything exported correctly. Did you do any roundtripping out of FCP X and back in or was all of this work only inside FCP X? At the time I had assumed this was a problem with the roundtrip, but maybe not.

I didn’t do any round-tripping with this project. I’ll try the copy/paste idea and see if that gives me a different result and report back.

    Thanks!
