  FCPX Audio Popping Like Crazy

  I have a long video that is made up of several clips for a youtube client of mine. I am compiling them for a ” best of” kind of video and I have been uploading versions of it to youtube in order for him to be able to edit. The first upload was fine but since then everything I do inside of FCPX has audio popping in it. I cant get it to go away…does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

  Is your Project audio stereo or surround? If it’s surround (and I’m guessing you don’t need it), set it to stereo and see if that fixes it.

  I found how to change, it made it slightly better, but it still pops alot. Any other ideas?

  Make sure you transcode any mp3 audio as this will always give you pops otherwise – you may also find that H.264 embedded audio (AAC) will give you problems so if in doubt transcode.
