    I have noticed that you can razor blade and insert gaps in any clip, doesnt need to be a compound clip

    FCPX deals with all clips as compound clips when you use the “open in timeline” command. I have remapped my shortcuts to 1 for this command as I thought it might come in handy

    also the live toogle to tool is good with hand tool for timeline scrolling or position tool when trimming for single sided trim to leave gap

    I have been working with Auditions for versioning (just playing around, no real jobs yet) where I can have one Project that has different versions. It’s kinda kick bootie.

    Fcpx is ripe for a control panel. I hope it can get one.

    thats imovie pro!

    apparently it cant do multicam

    but it can do graphics in a quarter of the time of the other big A’s

    and looks pretty hot to me
