    I wouldn’t, I’m happy with the new trackless workflow, but lack of tracks is one of the most common complaints about FCPX, I just thought I would show that there is at least the vaguest of possibilities that a form of tracks could be implemented.

    In some occasions tracks are good to have. Depends on the job.

    Steve, I understand you are setting all the tracks up as Storylines, but how do you prevent them from being connected to the primary storyline?

    …. and FCPX in the garbage bin

    They are all connected, I was just using the position tool to place and move clips, this doesn’t disrupt the connections, It’s a cheat of course but if Apple wanted to it could be a shortcut to some level of fixed track model
