  MPEG streamclip, FCP X… Mpeg2 playback question?

  Can anyone confirm if MPEG 2 playback component is part of FCP X? I can see it in library> QT but not sytem>library>QT
  I will buy it from the app store for $20 so that mpeg streamclip works, but if I don’t have to I’d rather spend that money on motion…
  Forgive the cross post, the question isn’t getting much attention in the OS X forum and I’m certain there are many qualified regulars here who could point me in the right direction…
  Thanks for any help. I’m new to Mac and FCP x so talk loudly and slowly please.
