show detail trimming feedback when you slug

When I slug a clip in the timeline I don´t see the last and the first frame of the adjacents clips. I´ve actived show detail trimming feedback

September 10, 2011 at 5:39 amWhen you slug? Do you mean when you ripple, roll, slip or slide a slug? And are we talking about “gap” clips here or have you created a slug clip using an FCPX generator? Sorry for all the questions.

There are no slugs in FCPX. Or is this an action you’re doing?

The “detailed” trimming feedback allows for a 2-up display so that you can see in and out of the trimmed clip. For a relevantly detailed view in a slide operation you would need a 4-up display, and FCP X does not support that.
