Request- Spot Blur
Posted by Robert Bracken on August 30, 2011 at 5:25 pmThere used to be a free effect that would blur or make a mosaic of whatever area of the screen you need.
I think it was called Andy’s plugins.is there a free spot blur effect for FCP X?

August 30, 2011 at 5:29 pmThere is a filter built in to FCPX called “Censor”, it’s under the “Stylize” heading, does this do what you want?
“My Name is Steve and I’m an FCPX user”

August 31, 2011 at 5:48 amLol. Wasn’t me … bus yes, it would be very easy in new FCPX but, as noted, not necessary as there’s already the “Censor” filter built-in.
Cheers

An alternative to the built in censor effect with options for blur, mosiac, outline and highlight.
