If I lay down a music track how do I lay down video clips in a random order? Meaning that I would add a clip at the top then three seconds later add another, five seconds later add another leaving blank space between the inserted clips? Thanks for your help.

You can use the Position tool (P) to place clip anywhere in your timeline as you see fit.

Another option is to lay your audio track down in the primary storyline and then add your video as connected clips (Q) as needed.

It’s weird at first as it feels like you are editing your sound into V1. Old habits die hard I guess.

Quite a few different ways to achieve this, find the one that works best for you.

    Cheers,

    Brendan
