Color Bars?
I know this seems kind of useless at the moment since you can’t calibrate to a proper monitor, but has anyone found ’em yet?

There not there in Generators. I suspect that bars are going to be handled by third party monitoring hardware. Think about how Matrox MXO2 handles monitor calibration for example.

You can export Motion generators as FCP generators

Going through Ripple Training tutorials I notice he shows both a Bars and Film Countdown Generator, neither of which are in the release version of FCPX (not in mine that’s for sure).

The generators section is pretty sparse. Maybe that’s because X was rushed out? I did export a couple of generators from Motion just to see how that worked.

I see a bunch of differences in the Ripple FCPX and my own default. For example, I didn’t get the same keyword results as them. I haven’t bought the Larry Jordan tutorials yet, should I have started with those?
