    Hey All,

Does anyone remember a non-linear editing system back in the late 80’s or early 90’s that used bubble memory to do A/B rolls? I thought it was produced by NEC..

Adcom’s NightSuite did. Had multiple buffers so you could keep multiple copied whatevers to expedite things by just using a designated f key. They called em macros and it did indeed speed things up a lot. I was sad to see them go.
You may remember MC2. Same kind of thing, as did Sony’s DS before Avid dumbed it down.
