    Hi!

I’m dealing with the “real” 3D capabilities of Photoshop to animate them in AE. I’ve made a simple photoshop file with three 3d text layers. The problem I have is that every 3d layer from the photoshop file seems to have its own comp and camera once imported in AE and I’d like to behave them as an only “normal” layer in AE with only one main camera (the main comp camera)

I tried everything i know. Rasterizing, flattering, linking layers, import as comp, merge… but all i get is a normal layer with no 3D volume in AE or a multiple comp with multiple independent cams for every layer.

Is there any way to achieve it or should i switch to another software like cinema4D?

    Thanks!

Look at effect applied to controller layer. Change to use comp camera
