Hey I’m a newbie at editing, and trying to emulate the slowdown effects used so commonly in music videos these days like this one

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ_tpbriGpE

I can’t shoot at high frame using the EOS camera I have, do I need another camera? Or can I shoot in 720p at 50/60 fields and use that?

Also I am unable to get a smooth slow down using FCPX, is there a tutorial somewhere that can help explain the technique and how to achieve it with regular means?

    Thanks

    Sincerely

    Josh Kline
