Maybe you’re too young to have seen Space 1999, but the news intro was a fairly close shot-for-shot imitation of that TV show’s open, that’s why I found it a hoot.

Yes, but wonder if they actually licensed the Space 1999 theme music or just ripped it. My only other comment is that this is the first time I’ve ever seen the News Director as part of a promo featuring on air talent. Wierd. Probably because he’s the only one who looks older than 22.
