    Depends on what you want to do exactly but I would suggest Particle Illusion. Have you tryed the demos?!

    I wonder… does any particle system integrate in a rpf backround? For example, 3d rain that ends on the floor, depending of the z value of both the raindrop and the backround.

    A few weeks ago, there was a brief demo of AE7.0 and it
    showed working particles in AE. It might be wise to wait
    for the AE 7.0 anouncement.

    If you look closly at that demo it appears it is nothing more than a browser with presets for the particle systems already avalable in AE (CC Particle World, Patricle Playground, etc).

    Someone else have a look and see what you think. I didn’t see a new particle ‘system’ at all.
