Taken from an email a film school student sent me recently…

“What happened is a long story, but the editor I hired turned out to
be a famous con artist named XXXX XXXXX XXXXX, now wanted for felony
charges in 3 states and for gypping film school students out of
    over $300,000…”

Forget Walter Murch – I guess all you need is a Powerbook and a getaway car, huh?

Better yet did the film student have the balls to turn the guy in or just keep editing.

By the way what was the guy doing editing student work is this his latest scam?
