  Composition background colour

  The default colour for the composition background colour is black but mine has somehow gone transparent! Just has that checker board pattern. I can see the colour can be changed but when I do that it only shows in the thumbnail but the main screen stays transparent. Why is that? Thanks for any tips!

  Under the comp window is a little checkerboard box-click this and it will delete/restore background color/transpaency.
