I would like to create a 3d movie in after effects.
I have shots from two perspectives. What do I do
to combine them so they can be viewed as 3D through
Red/Blue glasses. I need to subtract the Red from
one sequence and the blue and green from the other.

How do I subtract colors and what method do I use to composite
    the resulting material?

This is for a really cool Mars movie 😉

There’s a “3D glasses” filter that would handle that for you.

It’s included in the standard edition, search the manual for 3d glasses.
