  Can’t Justify Text!

  Hello to everyone.
  It may sound stupid, but I’m having difficulty in justifying the text I use in my compositions. Alright, so I’ve written a small paragraph, and until now, I would write one line after another, and try to fix manually the gaps to look right.
  I’ve bumped into this and I’ve actually felt very stupid, that I did it the manually way instead of using the preinstalled feature. Full of excitement, I’ve tried to apply the full allign feature on my text layer, but I’ve found out that I actually can’t!
  So, the allign buttons are enabled at first, but when I press them, nothing happens. When I select my text layer, the buttons get disabled, and when I drag to select only the text, and not the layer, the buttons are also disabled.

  Am I doing something wrong?
  Any help appreciated!

  Make sure the text layer is selected. Switch from the Selection tool to the Text Tool (Cmd + T).
  Select the text with the Text Tool (highlight it.)
  Then press the justify button in the Character palatte.

  I’ve took some screenshots to give you a quick glance at my AE comp window. So, the first one, (the above) is when I have nothing selected, and the justifying tools are enabled.

  But when I do select the text, here’s what I get:

  I believe the problem is that you created your text as point text rather than paragraph text.

  Those options will be grayed out unless you use the paragraph text technique.

  You must start by drawing out a bounding box, then entering your text.
  You will then gain access to those tools.

  Hi,
  That worked for me aswel! Thank you.

  Now my question is, How can I add animation to a paragraph?
  Appearantly, when adding a 3D text animation preset to a text layer (in paragraph technique) it doesnt animate by Letter or by a Word, it’s simply animating the whole text box.

  Please help,
