Such a simple question it hurts
Posted by Patrick Bronte on January 22, 2010 at 5:02 amCan someone please tell me – How doe you change the default setting for a new compositions background to be black instead of white? Can the default text colour of red be changed in AE CS4?

January 22, 2010 at 6:26 pmYeah, what Michael’s link says is a good way to change the comp BG color. Just be careful if you are rendering out alpha channels with anything other than black set as I have had problems with them not being clean even if the background was turned off (to checkerboard) during render.
Also the way to change font color is in the Character palette found under Window/ Character. Just click the colored box to select a new color.

You are always on the money.
Would you know how to generate a grid, manipulate it, and add other layers to it?
